i was watching music tv (not mtv but something called 'the hits' i think) yesterday whilst doing work and that video came on with JT and timbaland that is actually a 50 cent song (but i think they steal the show), and i was thinking about how i'm into the song but mostly because of the electro stuff in the music. then i had a moment of reckoning; no rap artist writes this type of thing, sure it's a sample with a hip hop beat on top! of course, i was right, the song is 'courtship dating' by the crystal castles.




p.s. there was a thing about this in today's guardian written by the foals. they made a good point in saying it's fucking awesome that timbaland listens to 8-bit synth-blasted electro from canada. their other songs are nice too, i recommends listening to 'crimewaves'
