I just came across an article that was like "guerilla artist banksy strikes again in islington!" and it talks about how the art is on the outside wall of a pharmacy and the owner's all "this is art, I would never cover it up, I know how much his works go for" and I was like ew.
over it?? not necessarily over banksy's work, but the whole "omg we love you that's so street and cool" reaction to it? isn't that kind of the antithesis to what he was going for?
