Lena Horne Dies at 92.

A beautiful woman, a gorgeous voice and a fascinating lady.

It isn't often when you can come across someone who has been in every facet of entertainment - stage, screen, radio, TV - and dominated them all as effortlessly as Lady Lena has; she was even mentioned in Mel Brooks' History of the World: Part 1!

But that voice - that golden, God-given voice... she gave every song she sang her all and made it her own.

And she graced her presence on many many other actors, entertainers and singers such as Diana Ross, Bill Cosby, Johnny Carson, Dean Martin, Flip Wilson, Merv Griffin, Andy Williams, Perry Como, Redd Foxx....

Heck, she even classed up "Sesame Street"!

Rest in peace, Lady Lena - Heaven has one heck of a songbird now.

Dope out.
