Nia long is pregnant

Hollywood actress, Nia Long has explained why she didn’t turn-up to shoot in a movie “Ties that Bind” written and directed by Leila Djansi.

Nia Long was said to be the leading actress in that movie.

According to Long, she was pregnant during the period which she describes as a surprise and unplanned.

“I was supposed to go to Ghana to do a film and that’s when I found out I was pregnant,” the UsMagazine.com cited the 40-year old Long as telling reporters at the just ended 2011 BET Awards held in Los Angeles.

She added “I had a doctor’s appointment to get the yellow fever shot and they were like, ‘Miss Long, we can’t give you a shot.’”

According to the publication, Long said she almost fainted when she became aware of the pregnancy “I almost fainted… It was the best moment and the sweetest surprise ever.”

Spotted wearing a white straight dress at the BET Awards, the actress was seen being pregnant and is expecting her second child.
