BHEL, India’s premier Navratna engineering organization provides world class products and services for the core sectors of Indian economy viz., Power Generation, Transmission, Industry, Transportation, Renewable Energy, Defence etc. It has a wide network of 15 manufacturing divisions, 4 power sectors regional centers, 8 service centers, 15 Regional Offices and a large number of project sites spread across all over India and abroad.

Central Foundry Forge Plant (CFFP), a metallurgical unit of BHEL at Haridwar, engaged in manufacturing and supplying various types of steel castings and forgings to vital sectors like Power, Steel, Defence, Nuclear, Space, Shipping, Machine Building and General Engineering and Transformer Plant BHEL, Jhansi has the requirement of Artisans in different trades as mentioned below.

1.Artisan (Laboratory Assistant) :01
Qualification :B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry with minimum 60 % marks (for all candidates General, SC, ST, OBC) from a recognised university (3yrs – Full Time). Physics and Mathematics should be other subjects in B.Sc.
Age Limit : 27 years

2.Artisan (Forger and Heat Treater) :02
Qualification :Class Xth (High School) pass with ITI and NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Forger & Heat Treater (Blacksmith). All candidates.
Age Limit : 27 years

3.Artisan (Boiler Operator) :04
Qualification :Class Xth(High School) pass with First Class Boiler Attendant Certificateexamination passed from any Boiler Board Directorate of any state.
Age Limit : 45 years.

LAST DATE : 05-03-2011 (5th March 2011).

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION : Working knowledge of Hindi.
PREFERENCE FOR BEST APPRENTICE / RUNNER UP APPRENTICE OF ALL INDIA SKILL COMPETITIONS.
For the post of Forger and Heat Treater, candidates who have been selected as Best Apprentice or Runner up Apprentice at All India Skill Competitions conducted by Directorate General of Employment and Training in the Trade Apprenticeship, NEED NOT appear for thewritten test(if otherwise eligible). They will be directly called for interview subject to fulfilling other terms and conditions and eligibility criteria. If found
suitable Best Apprentice will be inducted as Artisan Grade IV with two increments in the pay scale of Rs 11700-23000. Runner Up Apprentice will be inducted as Artisan Grade IV in the pay scale of Rs 11700-23000.

APPLICATION FEE : A non – refundable processing / examination fee of Rs 125/- payable by General & OBC candidates. SC, ST and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from payment of any application fee. The payment of fees is to be in made in the form of Non-refundable account payee Demand draft in favour of M/s Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Haridwar, payable at any scheduled bank in Haridwar.
