Oh, and by the way: I'm a LAMB...

You may have noticed a few changes around the blog here lately; more features, more reviews, more stuff in general.

Well, that is because, thanks to the efforts of Jason Soto, Owner and CEO of The Invasion of the B-Movies blog, I was turned on the the efforts of a legion of like-minded bloggers/reviewers in the cabal known as The Large Association of Movie Bloggers, also known as LAMBs (you see? It's an anagram-type thing, there...). Interesting, I thought.

I went over, looked around the place, liked what I saw and, realizing that I could easily turn more people on to my efforts and what it is I'm doing here in my little corner of the World Wide Internets, took the chance and filled out the necessary paperwork, clicked the necessary buttons and picked out my size of wool coat: I was about to become a LAMB.

A few days later, I found out that I was now listed in their site as an official member of the Association. Ecstatic, I was in a frenzy of cleaning up the blog, adding buttons, links, visiting other members, being very appreciative and realizing just what it meant to be part of a huge brotherhood of like-minded thinkers.

Believe me, it's still fun and it still brings me a lot of happiness to go on here and post things that I enjoy, not enjoy so much and just vent, rant and so forth. Only now I have a whole other group of others who can review my work, link to me and are more open to commenting on my works.

Which is fine by me; the more feedback by those who aren't going to try and post links to buying Viagra, the better.

And so it is with a certain amount of pride that I can say I am a LAMB, a member of a group that has a certain level of class to it and gives me a renewed sense of purpose to what I do here. For that, I am most definitely grateful.

To Jason Soto, thank you very much for directly (or indirectly, maybe) directing me to the LAMBs; to Dylan F., proprietor of LAMB and Blog Cabins, for herding me into the flock, and for the new membership to the Mecha-Blog-Zilla: glad to have you aboard and I hope to see even more of you come on in.

It actually does my heart good to see my regular members, for the first time, actually being MORE than 12 members.
