I have not heard any schedule for these bills. There was a hearing last week, but I couldn't find the outcome of the full hearing. May be someone from IV Core can tell us what is scheduled for the coming days.

I am filing a ***new*** I-765 application this week. On the USCIS website, I saw following notice. Is it true?

If you file Form I-765 separately, you must also submit a copy of your Form I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence of the filing of an I-485.

Hi all,
My insurance company (Progressive) is charging a ridiculously high rate for liability only insurance for my H4 spouse who currently holds a valid permit. They say the rate will go further up when she gets a perm license after passing the road test.
I have heard this issue from other H1Bs who have different insurance carriers than mine.
Have you guys found a cheaper alternative? Insurance agents etc??

i dont think tht has anything to do with ur/her status..u will have the same quote if ur a citizen of usa..it depends on things like ur/her crdit history, age driving history etc

As far as i know, it dosent matter if you are on EAD or H1b. You can open a bussiness as a investor. You can have profit of that business but you can not generate your payrole or you can not work for that particular business. I will recommend to assist immigration lawyer or CPA.

My I-140 case status has been changed today to
"This case has been received from the State Department with a request we review it."
My I-140 was already approved a year back and my I-485 is pending.
My I-140 was applied based on my own labor not labor sub.
Does anybody have clue about this?
My H-1B 3 year extension (based on approved I-140) is pending with USCIS. Do this has to do anything with this?

Agree, too much blue sky. This would be better with early or late light since midday sun doesn't do the clouds justice. Maybe a little more foreground foliage would help too. I'm not sure since I'm not much of a landscape photographer, but I am working on it, and those are some things I'm trying. :)

I opened 2 SR 's on my name and 2 on my wife's name, no use at all.I am a july 2nd filer transfered from NSC to CSC, still in CSC only,not transfered back to NSC.

I received the email notification of the case transfer thru the USCIS email updates for the case. My lawyer also leter confirmed that they have received a communication from USCIS on this.

thats very sad and bad on part of the HR. should always use fedEX, UPS for tracking such imp docs. anyways you can use Form I-824 Application for Duplicate Approval Notice.
google it and it should take around 3-5 months. friend of mine lost it at the photocopier and had to take this route.

You cannot file for EAD or AP unless your get your I-485 receipt (A copy of the receipt notice needs to be included in the EAD and AP application). The EAD and AP should go to the same service center as your I-485 application. The address will be listed on your I-485 receipt notice. Pretty straight forward, you can do it yourself, do not pay a lawyer for preparing these documents. Good luck.

My wife and I both work for the same company and my PD date is 1 year behind my wifes. But she was born in Germany though she is currently an Indian citizen. Now that the ROW category has moved passed her PD's date (Nov 6th 2002), we plan to file under the ROW category using the Cross Chargability rules. Does anybody have any experience filing under this rule? We have her birth certificate (translated into English from German etc) and our lawyers will send us the list of documents i expect. So basically i am trying to find out what to expect when filing under this category. Are there any caveats, good to knows etc?

Where does that put us considering the house bill didn't even make it to markup today?
I thought it was E-verify and our bill with some sunset bills. Now he excluded those things and added last item which Republicans never supports. So he is making this as suicide bill . This is all about politics. See how they turned back in last minutes. Now they created a image of Immi friendly but eventually they didn't fight for us. Bob was Anti in beginning and he introduce recapture so get our support now after becoming popular among us and our friends , relatives he is officially not stopping bill but killing it.

I'm not familiar with the operation of your particular camera, but I can tell you what's happening. If you're getting ablur when shooting moving subjects indoors, you are most likely not getting a fast enough shutter speed. Do you have your flash turned on?

If your name is coorect in EAD, then you should go to SSN office and
explain them , and if required re apply. You will get it changed. Remember SSN is going to be stuck to your lifetime. Hence better do the correct thing.

I recently came back from India, and got a new I-94 at port of entry, but later I noticed that CBP officer added 10 more days to my I-94 expiry(it may be a mistake by the officer)
Do I need to worry about this? any advice/suggetion?
