I just get home and what do I find out? That great character actor and all-around nice guy Peter Boyle has died. He was 71, which is relatively young nowadays; a true shame, because he was in all ways and means a consummate actor.
But as always, he will be remembered most for...well, besides being Ray Romano's dad on TV, for being the tall guy in this clip:
Rest in peace, Peter; you've earned it.
