Nowadays it takes a lot to scare people. You know it's true; what scared your great-grandpa would seem weak to your grandpa, which would seem lame to your dad and would be totally stupid to you.
Is it a matter of civilization getting more and more jaded with each passing generation? Or does it have more to do with our general concept of "getting scared" - is it outward stimuli (scary images, loud noises, the dark, etc.) or more our inner psyche and what you, personally, feel when seeing these images and how they are interpreted by the individual?
Meh, who cares? Here's the dinner scene from Beetlejuice.
Geez, still 13 days to go...is this a slow month or something?
Dope out.
