OH MY FREAKIN' GOD!!!

Sorry, I know it's been awhile, but I had to post this just to vent my innate outrage at the whole idea of....

Now, let's get the obvious out of the way: THIS IS A BAD $%#!$ IDEA FOR A VIDEO GAME.

It ranks right up there with the arcade game they came up with in the late '70s where you drove over little digital guys and they turned into gravestones. Of course, nowadays, such outrage is apparently misplaced because, hey, it's only a video game.

Heck, I used to think that myself...back when I was a kid and I knew no better. Now with the benefit of age and the awareness that there are nutcases out there that imitate EVERYTHING they see in video games (remember "Doom"?) who just salivate at the thought of honing their "people-killing" skills with games like that. Keep in mind I'm not an alarmist, but this is just plain irresponsibility of society as a whole that a product like this not only can be made, but also has a built-in audience.

What do we have to look forward to next month: a game based on killing babies? Concentration camps? Come on; I'm sure we can think of something really tasteless to convince kids/teens that it would make a cool video game.

Sheesh. Frickin' damned idiots.
