take a road trip with mr jones, make a video like this, and be the cutest girl ever.
edit: I just realized she and her husband are morman. now, instead of seaming cute and interesting, her and her husband seem kinda weird and boring. jealousy = haxed.

I'm at work, are you?
this is an awesome blog -- it's called I'm at work, are you?

people send in their doodles that they make at work and the blog posts them. it is pretty new but I can see it just getting better and better

if I had a job I would totally doodle and send things in.

I <3 travel blogs!
I heart travel blogs. especially when they are people that I know. a couple of my friends have travel blogs that I am super into, even if I don’t read them religiously. I am way into them b/c they provide me with an opportunity to faux-experience for my broke self what it is like to spend a month in Italy, 3 months in Hong Kong, or a year in Argentina. wayyyy better than a douche-y travel book telling you where to go as a tourist. and when it includes pictures of food, even better!!!
Here are some awesome travel blogs (some friends of mine, some peeps I don’t know, some I've already mentioned here):
who they are: 2 american fellas, working and living in buenos aires, learning spanish and the culture
what they post about: integrating themselves w/ the locals, the food, going to futbol games, drinking

The Slums of Shaolin (China):
who he is: an american guy by way of oakland, ca, living and working in china
what he posts about: the food!, traveling, observations, daily life in china, what he expected vs. what is different

La cantina ratti (Alba, Italy):
who she is: an american missy and her friend(s), living in italy and working at a winery
what she posts about: mistranslations, getting into the italian work ethic, learning italian, cultural differences

Elyse Sewell's Journal (Hong Kong and Korea):
who she is: an american working as a model in asia (the chick from america's next top model)
what she posts about: the food, hilarious translations, cultural differences, living with a bunch of models
Here are some awesome travel blogs (some friends of mine, some peeps I don’t know, some I've already mentioned here):
Soom and Cosmo way south of the border (
Buenos Aires, Argentina):who they are: 2 american fellas, working and living in buenos aires, learning spanish and the culture
what they post about: integrating themselves w/ the locals, the food, going to futbol games, drinking

the fantasys go to japan
if you haven't had a chance yet, I reccomend checking out mr and miss fantasy's travel blog about their trip to japan
you can read about japanese rockabillies and how they spend their sundays
or you can read about delicious-looking japanese food and be hungry
or you can read about what you have to do before praying in the Meji Shrine
a must-read for travel aficionados!

Lady Nasty!!!
why didn't I think of this first?

From "overheard in new york"
Angry woman to friend: I have a contention with the way people pronounce my daughter's name. I did not name by daughter 'Lady Nasty'! I named my baby girl 'La Dynasty.'
I wish sooo sooo much that instead of unicorn jones I was La Dynasty and then I would rap about my alter ego Lady Nasty who is a dominatrix
this is what came up when I googled "la dynasty"
and this is what came up when I googled "lady nasty"
if my name was La Dynasty, there would be way better pics on google of that shit.
update: I just googled "ladynasty" and found this!! titttieessssss!!!!
