20 Cool Things About Marlon Brando

1. Any man who would inspire Keith Richards to name his son after him is okay in anybody's book.

2. Never had to depend on a diet for a good performance.

3. Made directors feel his $1 million price tag was money well-spent.  Usually.

4. Neil Young, David Bowie, Madonna, Slipknot, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen sing about him - there must have been something about the guy.

5. When you live on the same street as Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson, ladies are gonna look for ya.

6. He looked good on a Beatles album cover.

7. Ice cream...milk...butter...The National Dairy Council missed a chance at a Grade A ambassador.

8. Apparently, he had a thing for women whose names ended with an "A".

9. He made ham radios cool.

10. Everyone loved getting personal checks from him.

11. He may not have been that good of a chess player, but still was able to rate games with George C. Scott.

1. Never has to worry about how to wear his hair.

2. If you ever want to have someone run around and shoot a gun while barefoot, he's your man.

3. He's a terrific parent...just don't let him name your kids.

4. The New Jersey Hall Of Fame has never had another inductee that was his own best musical accompaniment.

5. The best spokesman the Republican party ever had.

6. When a bunch of directors cast him more than once in their movies, you know the guy's gotta have something.

7. Demi Moore, guys.  Come on.  Demi Moore.

8. He kicked Snape's butt.

9. Named Hailey, Idaho's Outstanding Citizen several years running.

10. The only man who could possibly sub for David Letterman on his talk show.  ...except for Larry "Bud" Melman.

1. Witchcraft hasn't had a better spokesmodel since Elizabeth Montgomery.

2. As impossible as it sounds, Rose speaking Italian makes Italian an even MORE romatic language.

3. If all that's standing between her and a pole dance is a sanitized stripper pole, dozens of men would appear with anti-bacterial wipes.

4. The Agoraphobia Association of America needs to hire her as a celebrity rep pronto.

5. The only woman other than Ann-Margaret who could possibly be Ann-Margaret.

6. It took Sophia Loren, Ralph Fiennes, Susan Sarandon, Linda Fiorentino, Clara Bow, Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Jessica Lange and Ava Gardner to influence her enough to become an actress.

7. In the movie Girl, Interrupted, it took Angelina Jolie to replace her.

8. Even if you liked fish, you'd give it up in a second for her.  Admit it.

9. McDonald's wouldn't change its menu when vegetarian Rose worked there.  Have you noticed how much McDonad's is struggling lately?

10. She wore black and spent a lot of time in the library in high school. Goths WISH they were as
good-looking as she.

18. Rose was ranked #39 in Stuff Magazine's 2002 issue, "102 Sexiest Women in the World", and  #44 in Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 of 2007....which means that someone at those magazines miscounted and put her too low on their lists.

19. She knits, gardens and collects shoes, which means when she gets old enough, she'll already have "doddering old lady hobbies" ready and waiting for her.

20. In spite of having dated Marilyn Manson, she is still desirable.

20 Cool Things About Jeff Bridges

1. He was probably the most laid-back member of the United States Coast Guard ever.

2. If he had a dollar for every role he either was considered for or passed on in Hollywood, he'd be the richest man in Hollywood today.

3. Jeff almost got the lead in so many films that it makes you wonder what casting idiots screwed up so many movies.

4. Held his own in a movie alongside Barbra Streisand. Not an easy thing to do.

5. He was probably the most laid-back student ever to study in a military academy.

6. It was because of him that most people ever wanted to get assimilated into a computer mainframe.

7. His best pals are Gary Busey, Tommy Lee Jones, Kurt Russell and Nick Nolte - now THERE'S a party!

8. Seems that directors like casting him in roles where they call him "Jack"...which explains why so many boys end up being named "Jack" after seeing a Jeff Bridges movie.

9. Only he could take out Iron Man. Almost.

10. The Beach Boys never had a cooler fan than he.

11. He's probably the most laid-back cigar-smoking photographer ever to grace a movie set.

12. The 1989 Batman was just thiiis close to becoming the most laid-back superhero ever.

1. He outlived the only other director considered greater than him, and didn't have a fakey British accent, either.

2. Not everyone has Frank Sinatra as their daughter's godfather.

3. Welles hated Donny Osmond as much as everybody else did.

4. Babe Ruth's home run hit convinced Welles' mother to give birth to Orson that same day.

5. The man dated Eartha Kitt. Catwoman. Rowwr....

6. He would have made an awesome Mr. Rourke on "Fantasy Island".

7. Marlene Dietrich equated religion with his name!

8. The only other actor who dared share the spotlight with him in death was Yul Brynner.

9. 18 hot dogs at one sitting. Not even Kevin Smith could do that.

10. He knew what evil lurked in the hearts of men.

11. Let's face it: Orson made gaining weight look cool.

1. The only award he hasn't won is the Nobel Peace Prize, unless the committee believes that he is in fact Nelson Mandela.

2. He was inspired to act by watching Gary Cooper - which explains The Unforgiven.

3. If Morgan Freeman tells someone to do something, 99 times out of 100 they're gonna think twice about NOT doing it.

4. The dots on his face. No one else could pull it off. He can.

5. Anyone who can hold their own against Jessica Tandy is a consummate actor. He did it and won awards for it!

6. He's cool with the whole Easy Reader thing. Though I wouldn't push him to do his Count Dracula.

7. One of the best actors in Hollywood, DESPITE Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

8. When the Earth is about to get hit by a giant meteor, he makes a terrific President.

9. You remember the movie Hard Rain? No? You remember Morgan Freeman as a criminal stealing money out of a bank in a flooded town? Yes? There you go.

10. If James Earl Jones isn't available, Morgan's the best replacement, apparently.

11. He has his own Internet domain name, like all important people do (wink wink nudge nudge).

12. From all evidence, he's a really good boxing teacher.

1. His career made it through The Legacy.

2. Just listen to him talk; he tells you to do something - you'll involuntarily do it.

3. Let 'em make as many Hulk movies as they want - HE IS GENERAL ROSS.

4. Sam's shared romantic screen time with Anne Archer, Vera Miles, Cher AND Kirstie Alley. Jealous?

5. You need someone to ride a horse in your movie? Call him.

6. Even Patrick Swayze couldn't upstage him in Road House.

7. He played Evel Knievel in a TV movie once. Are you surprised?

8. If anyone could make cartoon cows or CGI dogs sound forceful and commanding, it's Sam.

9. The moustache.

10. You know that Western you saw that one time, where it had that guy who was good with a gun, who had all the women in town after him, who had all the good dialogue and never missed a shot? That was Sam!

1) It's not every actress that men are afraid to star alongside because she's taller than they are.

2) To prove that she was the equal of every other big star in Hollywood, Sophia didn't get along with Marlon Brando. Good for her.

3) As soon as she walks into a room, everyone in it immediately starts speaking Italian. It just happens.

4) As someone who does her own hair and nails, she sure does a terrific job.

5) If you own a makeup, perfume or dress company, all you need is Sophia as your spokeswoman...the marketing campaign writes itself!

6) She's the best thing that "emerging out of the water with your clothes clinging to you" ever happened to.

7) For one brief moment at the Oscars, just by announcing his name, she made Roberto Benigni cool.

8) She's Drew Barrymore's godmother, for crying out loud!

20 Cool Things About Tom Hanks

1. Need him to gain weight for your movie? No problem!

2. He started out in horror movies; you have to love a guy who started out in horror movies.

3. Tom apparently has no qualms about wearing a dress.

4. Who else is not only an award-winning actor, but also a readily-recognizable children's toy?

5. Having an asteroid named after him never really went to his head.

6. You can't abuse him enough. Just ask Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and Robert Zemeckis.

7. Although he was nominated for a few Razzies in his day, he never got one.

8. He won the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award...and so far he's still alive!

9. How many other people do you know that get rave reviews for playing piano with their feet?

10. Julia Roberts likes him. That counts for something.

11. Tom attended more than one college, but it never held him back.

12. You get the feeling. just looking at him, that he could make a pretty good president.

13. Whenever a movie shoot goes long, the crew can always count on plenty of home-baked cookies from Rita Wilson.

20 Cool Things About Tommy Lee Jones

1. He doesn't have to yell to be heard - everyone listens to him, even when he whispers.

2. Clint Eastwood doesn't intimidate him.

3. All he has to do is tilt his head down a little and look at a woman: THAT'S the whole sex scene.

4. People will always call him "Tommy" or "Tommy Lee"...NEVER "Thomas".

5. He can not only make a unibrow sexy, but make other men consider having one.

6. His scowl can be comforting, while his smile is very intimidating.

7. Even with a fake badge, you imagine he could pretty much clean up any size town.

8. If he just read the ingredients on a can of chili, people would pay to listen to him.

9. The whole Western thing is more or less a given - I mean, look at him!

10. He convinced Al Gore that creating the Internet would make him look cool.

11. Not one acting class, and he still wins awards. Take that, Lee Strasberg!
