Happy 4th Of July, Everybody!

Getting in late, but I just wanted to wish you all the best on America's celebration of freedom and so forth.

And I truly have a reason to celebrate today. Things are, for the first time in a long time, looking up for me and my mood has improved for the better. I've been breathing huge sighs of relief lately. Now we just need to get our bills caught up....

But to celebrate my happiness, here is a logical video: the music video for "Skateaway" by Dire Straits.

No, that doesn't really have anything to do with the 4th, but it makes me happy to watch the video and I feel like celebrating so just watch it then go set off a firecracker, willya?

Been Awhile, Eh?

Well kids, it's been a long time since I was able to check in and run a little maintenance on the ol' homestead here, but I thought I'd better check in and make sure no one thought I was dead or nothin'.
