Well, lot has been said, read and written everywhere, but Poonam seems to have moved on and is all set to make it big through popular reality show Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi, as one of the contestants.

In an exclusive chat, Poonam reveals it all…

How does it feel to be a part of a show like Fear Factor – Khantron Ke Khiladi?
‘Fear Factor’ happened so unexpectedly and it’s such a fabulous show on TV. I am so glad that I have got this chance, as this show is so different from rest of the boring reality shows.

All that drama during World Cup drama has really made you big in no time. What actually prompted you to declare that you want to go nude?
Well, that wasn’t drama!!! I would like to reiterate that ‘IT WAS NOT A PUBLICITY STUNT’.
The statement I made was for my Team India and I still am on my words. My intentions were clear. I just wanted to congratulate India, if they win the World Cup, in my own special way and I thought this would be a fun way and a good gesture too.

Alas, you left millions of fans disappointed who were eagerly waiting to see you stripping.
I don’t think I have disappointed my fans. I still love them and if their support remains with me, I will soon fulfill my promise. I am just waiting for BCCI permission and once that happens, I promise I WILL GO NUDE SOON. I also seek help from media to convey my request to BCCI to allow me to strip.

Why didn’t you simply go nude without telling anyone beforehand?
I agree India is a democratic country but I didn’t want to break any law. I am not a criminal.

But you were just about absconding after the World Cup got over. Ever your phone was switched off. Why so?
I was getting several threatening calls and people were saying abusive things - so I had to switch off my phone, as it became hard to deal with all of it. Those 2 days were the most difficult days of my life. I was getting calls every second from all parts of the world and that’s why I had to put my phone of switch off mode.

Did you friends support you when you shared your intentions to go nude?
They were with me like any other person. Though some people tried giving free advices but I didn’t entertain them because it was my decision and I didn’t ask anyone whether it was right or not.

So after the entire hullabaloo, is Bollywood the next step?
Of course, yes! There are plans for Bollywood and I am already getting a few offers but all that will happen once KKK is over.

Would you mind going nude for your movie roles, especially if it’s your debut movie?
Why not? I will do whatever comes my way – nudity, comedy, drama etc. It also depends on the movie and lot of other things. For me, it’s a part of acting, so why would I mind going that way. It’s like what all other actresses are doing in films – I will also do that without any hitch.

If anyone at all was actually disappointed with Poonam Pandey's 'no-show' after the World Cup, this could make them partially happy. The bigtime wannabe became an overnight star after she offered to go nude before Team India if they won the Cricket World Cup. However, the actress who is yet to fulfill her commitment gave a glimpse of her stripping streak recently.

The entire publicity stunt won her an entry into the latest season of stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi hosted by Akshay Kumar.

At a recent event, when Poonam Pandey was introduced as the contestant on the show and media bombarded her with questions regarding her no-show after India's victory, she gave a trailer of her yet-to-release picture.

She unzipped her jacket to reveal a black bikini top much to the surprise of the shutterbugs who went gaga clicking her. And Miss Pandey seemed to be enjoying all the attention.

If rumours are to be believed Poonam Pandey is being paid a whopping Rs 50 lakhs to be on the show. Also we won't be surprised if she bags another popular reality show Bigg Boss, which is also played on the same channel. Personalities like Poonam Pandey are perfect fodder for the Bigg Boss house!

Poonam Pandey to be the part of a reality show on TV

When the entire world is trying to find the whereabouts of aspiring model, Poonam Pandey, who announced to strip if team India lifted the World Cup, is going to be the part of a reality show on TV.

Poonam was in the news for her bold announcement but soon thereafter she was threatened by Shiv Sena and went underground. But we found out that the girl will soon be part of Comedy Ka Maha Muqqabla on TV. Poonam will be a participant in the star-studded reality show. A channel source confirms, "Yes, we have roped her in as a participant and she will soon be seen on TV." After titillating the wild imagination of the countrymen, now the lass is set to tickle your funny bone!

Poonam Pandey in hospital

Model Poonam Pandey, who had vowed to strip if India won the World Cup but turned out a no show, is hospitalised for an operation to remove kidney stones, says her publicist.

“She was admitted on Monday night because she was experiencing trouble in her kidney. She is likely to be discharged on Tuesday night,” said her publicist. “But she will soon speak up,” he added. A couple of hours after this statement, the 20-year-old tweeted, “Be content to act but leave the talking to others”.

Although her phone remained switched off all through the India-Sri Lanka match, she posted a message on Facebook on Monday evening: ‘Hello Friends & Fans All over the World I am SAFE and On cloud 9!!! after INDIA made it :) But for ur Questions Kindly search the Letter Written by me to the BCCI on the net 3 days back!! AND I AM WITH MY COMMITMENTS!! (sic)” In the letter, she requests she could strip in a ”neutral venue like Paris,” but her lawyer Prashant Uchil says, “BCCI has not reverted.”
