o hai hello kitty hospital

I read about this a while ago somewhere but didn't see any pictures. now there are pictures, and it's so much better.


a hello kitty hospital just opened in Yuanlin, Taiwan. and while it has v. good intentions,

Director Tsai Tsung-chi said . . . "I wish that everyone who comes here, mothers who suffer while giving birth and children who suffer from an illness, can get medical care while seeing these kitties and bring a smile to their faces, helping forget about discomfort and recover faster," he told Reuters.

the pictures just make me kinda creeped out! I'm into having not-stark-white walls at a hospital, but the picture below of the woman in a hospital bed w/ the hello kitty comforter just makes me think of a 9 yr old girl's sleepover. but maybe thats the point.





and for you who really, truly love hello kitty, to the point of a wedding dress . . .

perhaps recently some of us with myspace accounts have been experiencing some problems with our accounts being hacked. yeah, getting 6 different messages about how i can get a free coach bag when i thought someone was sending me an important message (probably a comment saying 'poop') sucked a lot, but i think it's all payed off to be able to bask in the interweb glory of these gems:



a hacker was able to breech myspace's security and access all the 'private accounts'. 44,000 pictures were downloaded and posted as a bit torrent, which some of the people at somethingawful have since downloaded and began sorting through. enjoy.
